The Futureheads…

We were drawn in back in the day by their cover of Kate Bush’s Hounds of Love and then our love was consummated by Man Ray (the song, not the artist)…Drowned in Sound have managed to get a really decent interview with the Futureheads crew which you should check out here. Talking of Man Ray, I went to the Duchamp, Man Ray and Picabia exhbition at the Tate t’other week…it was very much a mixed bag…the over-arching theme for me was that the 3 of them were just as horny as each other! I preferred Duchamp’s stuff generally and appreciated some of Man Ray’s stuff…I thought Picabia was rubbish but he got a little bit better during the middle part of his career only to then end up painting various sized dots…get a grip bro. Anyway here’s Man Ray played live in Rome, fucking awesome…
